What I Know Now... Birthday Reflections
Friends,
My daughter recently showed me a sneak peek of my grandson’s first birthday party invitation. The theme made me smile: “First Trip Around the Sun.”
January 26th is my birthday, and that simple phrase got me thinking about how each year is both a cosmic journey and a deeply personal one. Another full orbit. Another chance to pause, reflect, and decide how we want to spend the time we’ve been given.
This past year brought new grandchildren, meaningful goodbyes, big changes, and a few personal lessons I didn’t see coming. It also reminded me how precious time really is—and how important it is to keep trying something new, no matter our age.
